I hope beeing in the right topic.
Now i have a Mac, latest version of Mac OS.
I can not print photos on my Canon iP4300.
The photos are much too dark and there where stripes.

In former times i printed with Gimp 2.6.7 under Win XP SP3 and there where no problem.

Has anyone an idea?

Stripes? That sounds like a problem of the driver or the printer itself. Are you sure your ink is fresh and the nozzles are clean? Or try a different driver if you find one.

Can you tell my how the Printer adjusted at colorquality normal high or user defined, may be it called custom define. get to high or normal maybe instead the printer prints in fast condition only every second line.
